The Foundation of Service
Our mission is to support the efforts of Lions clubs and partners in serving communities locally and globally, giving hope and impacting lives through humanitarian service projects and grants.
Campaign 100: LCIF Empowering Service℠
For over 50 years, we’ve worked side-by-side with Lions to help them make an even bigger impact in communities around the world. We’re now launching our most ambitious capital campaign ever, with the goal of bringing more help and hope than ever before—empowering service for generations to come.
The Lions Clubs International Foundation is only as strong as those who support it. Every donation made helps Lions around the world provide greater service to those who need it the most. And 100% of your donations go to the support of our grants and programs.
Campaign 100 will allow us to expand our focus areas while increasing the impact of our current ones. When a donation is made, it will support the following areas:
Vision, disaster relief, humanitarian causes, diabetes, youth, childhood cancer, the environment, hunger.

Recognizing the Kindness of Lions
Without the generous donations of our worldwide donors, our foundation would be unable to provide the incredible levels of support that are empowering the service of Lions everywhere. To honour and recognize our donors, we have created a comprehensive recognition structure. 
Programmes and Fellowships
As a token of our appreciation to those who help us in big ways, we offer recognition in the form of pins, plaques, acknowledgement cards and more. Recognition varies by level of support and is available to individuals, clubs, districts and corporations.
Melvin Jones Fellowship
The Melvin Jones Fellowship (MJF) is the backbone of our foundation. Presented to those who donate US$1,000 to LCIF or to people for whom a donation was made by others, it’s a tremendous contribution to humanity and to the legacy of our founder, Melvin Jones.
Contributions for the MJF can be made by individuals (including non-Lions), clubs or districts. Donations may be in one sum, or in installments of a minimum of US$100 over a five-year period (recommended). Melvin Jones Fellows receive a special lapel pin, a plaque and a congratulatory letter.

Lions Share Program
100% of donations made to LCIF are used to support grant programs, allowing Lions to help the world on a larger scale and do more than they could on their own. By becoming a Lions Share supporter, you’ll be helping enhance the service of Lions—like you—everywhere.
About Lions Share
Lions Share is an annual program that recognizes individual donors for three levels of support: US$50, US$100 and US$200. Lions Share donations are MJF-eligible and used to support LCIF humanitarian grant programs.
Clubs are awarded a 100% Member Support banner patch and chevron when every member makes a minimum contribution of US$100. For each subsequent year of 100% Member Support, clubs receive a chevron.
