Lions Clubs New Zealand Charitable Trust

Background

The Lions Clubs New Zealand Charitable Trust was initially established in October 2014 as a means of managing the funds generated by the Heads up for Kids programme. The Trust now also administers the programme Lions Quest Life Skills and accepts donations on behalf of Lions Clubs of New Zealand for delivery of national projects.

The trustees of the Trust are the appointed Council Advisory Board along with the current Council Chair of the Lions Clubs International Multiple District 202 New Zealand and Islands of the South Pacific Incorporated.

Since the Trust was formed more than $150,000 has been awarded from the Heads up for Kids Programme in support of more than 1000 Kiwi Kids.

Heads up for Kids

This is a project which collects donated old New Zealand and Foreign Currency to support a grant scheme to help young people 18 years of age or younger engage in an experience of activity that will enable them to live their dream, establish life goals and reach their full potential within their chosen field.  Find out more about how you can assist us with this program or apply for a grant here.
